Improvising Pakistan - A Call for United Rehabilitation Effort (Part 02)

In the first part of this article, I have tried to let my dear Pakistanis know the historic unity of Pakistan. I know there are some separatists movements being in action before the inception of Pakistan and sadly they are right now residing in this Islamic Republic of Pakistan. But, right now I'm not here to discuss those ignorant instead, I'm opting myself as a somewhat responsible Pakistani Patriot to provide my people and statesmen with suggestions to improve the conditions of My Dear Motherland Pakistan.

PUNJAB:
An agriculturally gifted land with lots of crops that are circulated around the country to provide other Pakistani Brothers and Sisters with food and grain. Also, it is the largest industrial hub of Pakistan containing many Small, Medium and Large companies in various fields. Also, being a heritage land it generates a handsome tourism revenue.

SINDH:
A culturally rich land with a remarkable extent of seafood capacity, being connected with the only sea route in the region "The Arabian Sea". Also, there are industrial hubs of different descents  supporting the regions economy.

PAKHTUNKHWA:
A land that needs no introduction to its people's valor and rich culture. Its beautiful plateaus, scenic mountain views and northern valleys are the largest tourist attractions of the country. Also, dry fruit is the main commodity being produced in this land. The regions trade routes are the most famous and most historical.

BALUCHISTAN:
A land gifted with largest mineral resources of the country. Also, there are many scenic tourist attractions unexplored in the area with an opportunistic natural seaport under consideration.

AZAD-KASHMIR:
Another picturesque landscape offering tourism & rich food culture to the people of the land and foreign tourist expeditions.

All of this that has been elaborated above is to let my people know what gifts we have incurred from God - Almighty. Now, comes the point that how can we start a Unified Rehabilitation Effort for the improvisation of Dear Motherland Pakistan. From the above detailed scenario we can get the following areas which can help us all in reconditioning the State of Pakistan for prosperous future.
  1. Sharing the Agricultural Progress by implementing green housing techniques to soil the seeds of one province in all other provinces
  2. Conversion of Historical Buildings in Hotels and Restaurants
  3. Promoting Greater Tourism in all regions by providing greater opportunities for facilitators (Tuck Shops, Equipment Stores, Antique Shops and Souvenirs' Shops)
  4. Exploring New Tourist Locations
  5. Deciding the Royalties for Tourist Sites which are part of some Leader of a Clan's property, like in Baluchistan and KPK
  6. Exploration of Mineral Resources
  7. Encouraging local investors more than foreign investors in all business sectors by allowing them subsidies and rebates
  8. Establishing Equal quota of Government Jobs for all provinces by ending the discriminatory division of it on population basis
  9. Building more academic centers and institutions with multilingual support
  10. Reinforcing new industrial hubs all across Pakistan on equal terms and opportunities
  11. Upbringing & reinforcing skills and capabilities of people from every caste & creed in rehabilitation effort for the socioeconomic progress of Pakistan
  12. Forming centers for the Confidence Building Measures across the country
The list of things to do is huge, but to me the foremost duties are listed above on the part of Governments. I hope the government officials will look into this post and at-least consider it as a generous effort for unified rehabilitation. Being an Individual and citizen of Pakistan, we should also come forward to employ our skills & capabilities to make Our Dear Motherland Prosper. We should also end our prejudiced thoughts and show respect to others. That is all what I can say right now and hope my people along with the statesmen will surely not just listen to it, but also do so.

Improvising Pakistan - A Call for United Rehabilitation Effort (Part 01)

Its hard to start, but still I have to begin with the very needed point of view for the Great United Rehabilitation Effort for our very own Dear Motherland Pakistan. Today, we are in a state of economic discomfort, social discrimination, cultural turmoil and a severe lack of unified national growth. Its obvious that a normal person or a reader would put all this on the shoulders of the politicians of the state. Yes, they are responsible for all this fuss which is being created, but are we forgetting ourselves. Aren't we responsible for this inequality or what I should say more appropriately prejudice.

Lets for a moment forget our politicians & bureaucrats and analyze ourselves. In our daily lives we always try to score our own points on the basis of caste and creed. For example, a Punjabi always try to project that everything is on Punjab's shoulders by providing food grain, utility bills (at the most) and production of various necessities to the other provinces. A Pashtun always try to elaborate his' ethnic nation's bravery and hardworking capability to score his' ethnic orientation's score. A Sindhi always try to score his' points by elaborating his' land's cultural and historical values. A Baloch always try to speak out for inappropriate treatment they have  from government of Pakistan and other nations surviving in this country also do so like these major ethnic origins.

Why can't we understand that all of us are first and fore mostly Pakistanis, despite of whatever ethnicity we are currently holding. Why can't we think of origins other than us in this state of Pakistan.
  • Is it that Being a Punjabi is better or bigger than Being a Pakistani?
  • Is it that Being a Pashtun is better or bigger than Being a Pakistani?
  • Is it that Being a Sindhi is better or bigger than Being a Pakistani?
  • Is it that Being a Baloch is better or bigger than Being a Pakistani?
  • Is it that Being a Kashmiri is better or bigger than Being a Pakistani?
  • Is it that Being a Hazarvi is better or bigger than Being a Pakistani?
  • Is it that Being an Urdu Speaking is better or bigger than Being a Pakistani?
  • Is it that Being an Bengali is better or bigger than Being a Pakistani?
  • Is it that Being a Baruhi is better or bigger than Being a Pakistani?
  • Is it that Being a Gilgit-Baltisitani is better or bigger than Being a Pakistani?
The answer to these questions should be "NO" for every Pakistani, no matter what ethnic origin he/she belongs to. In every situation we should think on a whole for all Pakistanis. We should fight for the rights of Nation as a whole, not on the basis of ethnicity. We should end this prejudiced thought living in us.

Day by Day we are getting close minded by thinking only for us. Aren't we forgetting something told to us by our elders i.e. Unity is Strength. Did we just forget the great "Independence Movement" for the creation of Dear Motherland Pakistan. A movement which has people from every caste & creed. The leader of the movement was an Urdu Speaking (Qauid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah), The great thinker of the movement was a Punjabi (Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal), another notable leader was a Punjabi (Ch. Rehmat Ali), another notable leader was a Bengali (Khawaja Nazimudin), another notable leader was a Bengali (Hussain Shaheed Suharwardy), another notable leader was a Pashtun (Sardar Abdur Rab Nishter), another notable leader was a Pashtun (Khan Bakht Jamal Khan), another notable leader was from Balochistan (Qazi Muhammad Essa), another notable leader was from Balochistan (Shahzada Rehmatullah Khan Saddozai), another notable leader was from Sindh (Jan Muhammad Junejo), another notable leader was from Sindh (Abdullah Haroon), another notable leader was an Urdu Speaking (Nawab Viqar-ul-Mulk), another notable leader was from Hazarvi Origin (Jalal-ud-din Jalal Baba) and many others from different ethnic origins of our Dear Motherland Pakistan.

Also, on religious grounds the movement has people like "Jogendra Nath Mandal" a Hindu,
"Sir Victor Turner" & "Alvin Robert Cornelius" were Christians
, "Syed Mir Hassan - Shams ul Ulema" & "Syed Shamsul Hassan" were Sayyids, "Pir Jamaat Ali Shah Sb" a Sunni, "Raja Sahab Mahmood Abadi" a Shia, "Sir Aga Khan 3" an Ismaili, "Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi" a Deobandi and "Ghulam Ahmed Pervez" a Barelvi too participated in the Independence Movement of Pakistan.

All this which I had described above, clearly states that Pakistan is a state developed with a mutual consent & efforts of all ethnic & religious groups. Now, seeing the conditions of present day Pakistan, a question in mind arises that why are we facing this clash of cultures & origins. Aren't there any brotherhood calls or aren't there any unified progression efforts? Yes, there are calls for Unified Growth Policies & Movements, but sadly we don't take part in them to keep our prejudiced thoughts for our personal gains. Today, our personal gains are more important than what is in best interest of our Dear Motherland Pakistan.

Should there be a National Policy for Rehabilitation of Unified Economic Growth or should there be an effort on individual basis. The answer to this would most probably be the responsibility on both sides. But, what should comes first in implementation? And this is something on the part of Governments. (To Be Continued....)
